Will General Aviation survive if we don’t have the business to do business with?

One of the main problems with general aviation growth, is the assumption that the flight schools are harvesting the potential that is available.  Whether it is Cirrus Aircraft design, or any of the LSA manufactures, I believe they are in denial about what the reality is.  Just as you put someone on a commission only position and think the salesperson “gets it”, you would be surprised by how the reality is and then we will begin to figure out how to fix the problem with general aviation.  But, there is a larger problem looming on the horizon, and that is who is going to be in business to take care of the needs of the recreational pilot?   Read More
